Introducing The Oris Aquis Depth Gauge Chronograph Watch

When the Oris Aquis Depth Gauge Watch was first launched, it impressed the world by being the only mechanical watch to measure depth without moving parts. Two years later, the famous Swiss watch brand came up with a new chronograph version of the timepiece, adding a new extremely useful feature to an already outstanding Swiss Designer Watches Online.

The Oris Aquis Depth Gauge Chronograph is water resistant to 500 meters (1,640 feet) and features a sturdy 48mm stainless steel case. Surrounding the sapphire crystal is the bezel with ceramic inlay, and right next to it is the watch’s most important feature: the depth gauge, which is a milled channel inside the AR-coated crystal. A yellow meter scale indicates just how deep the wearer is swimming. For easy underwater reads, the nickel hands and indices feature SuperLuminova coating.

Inside the case is a Swiss automatic Oris caliber 774 (base Sellita W500) with 48-hour power reserve, 28,800 vph, and 25 jewels. To ensure perfect comfort, the black rubber strap is secured with an in-house safety anchor and adjustment sliding-sledge clasp, but a separate metal bracelet is also offered for the classy, non-diving moments.
